The Nendo Puma House Tokyo is an Exsquisitely Original Event Space

A house made entirely of shoes may be every woman's dream and every man's nightmare, but in this case, the Nendo Puma House Tokyo is every athlete's dream, no matter what their gender! Located in the city's Aoyoma design district, the Puma House is an event space, a press room and a warehouse for all of Puma's recent designs. Using staircases as the architectural centrepiece of the space, it will be used for exhibitions, fittings, product launches and other media events.

According to Nendo, "The overall effect of seeing a labyrinth of staircases reminds us that we need to continuously exercise our bodies. Visually it also brings us back to puma's relationship to sports and athletics. The placement of the staircases provide a sense of movement throughout the interior, enabling a three-dimensional product display that fully uses its environment."
The staircases are multi-functional, being used for both climbing and as display platforms for the Puma sneakers.

This original take on the event warehouse is sure to bring attention to both the brand and to designer Nendo, whose other architectural works are known for their innovative design and creative use of product.
