Stylized Nature Photoshoots

This shoot expresses the rough and tumble side of nature

This nature photoshoot isn't your average "put a bunch of models in some high grass and take photos" kind of shoot. Michael Winters takes some unusual shots and uses all styles at his disposal to get a timeless photoshoot.

Much of Michael Winters' photography is so good that it often doesn't seem real. This particular group of photos is heavily stylized but still retains the rugged essence at the heart of the piece itself. The use of fur, animal carcasses and smoke make for more of an experience than simply a shoot.

The models themselves, while beautiful, take more of a backseat to the story that is trying to be told by Winters. The photos are both in hyper-real color and black and white and Winters doesn't shy away from varying the poses and styles in the shoot.
