Mott's Clamato Held a Contest with Dan Levy for National Caesar Day

To celebrate National Caesar Day 2017, Mott's Clamato held a contest with actor, writer and producer Dan Levy, to name the brand's newest cocktail. With more than 8,300 names submitted from across the country, the contest demonstrates just how much Canadians love a good Caesar.

As part of its 'Caesars With Dan' competition, Mott's Clamato came up with an outrageous new cocktail made with unique ingredients such as green olive juice, truffle salt and a maple bacon garnish. The brand then teamed up with actor Dan Levy of the hit TV show 'Schitt's Creek' to call on Canadians to name the new cocktail. On May 18th, National Caesar Day, Levy announced that the new cocktail would be dubbed 'Don't Go Bacon My Heart.' When asked why he chose the new name, Levy simply replied: "Listen, I like bacon. I like puns. And I never claimed to have discerning taste."
