Breakfast is the most essential meal of the day, and Nathan Shields portrays this meal with style.
This collection of pancakes is not your typical round pancake; it has texture, odd shapes and takes the form of animals and objects. Shields is a former illustrator and has taken his talent to the kitchen. There are Star Wars pancakes created with intricate details that take form of Yoda, Java the Hut and R2D2. The sculptor creates an array of designs, from reptiles to mathematical constants, or dog breeds to famous structures of the world.
Most designs are fun to look at, but the body anatomy collection where one can pour syrup over a uterus or squiggly intestine might be a bit much. All of Shield's designs are made with high detailing.
