The 'Nanterre Arboretum' is a conceptualized wood-made office campus outside of Paris, set to be the World's largest solid wood project. The plans, which include 136,000 square meters of office space spanning in nine hectares of parkland aims to address environmentally responsibility, as well as community engagement. The campus will be host to a multitude of varying outlets including five office spaces, sports facilities, food outlets and cultural activity centers.
The wood being used will be locally sourced and 100% recyclable and the building will be constructed with "the aim of reducing greenhouse gas emissions throughout the life of the campus." The space also visualizes a large garden orchard which will grow 25 tonnes of fruit and vegetables each year.
