Serene Bare Skin Yearbooks

The Naked Muse Calender for 2012 Features Serene Male Captures

Wild Women Press has unveiled its new project, the Naked Muse Calendar for 2012.

The calendar features black and white photos of nude men posing serenely with nature, window sills and on bed sheets. These peaceful stills of the men, who are poets, are taken by female photographers. A poem, written by a female poet, accompanies each photo.

The calendar is definitely different from the pin-up-like themes that have become mainstream in society today. Not only is it a work of art, it is also for a cause to which many can relate. Victoria Bennett, the founder of Wild Women Press and mother to three-year-old Django, started this project to raise funds for Type One diabetes. All proceeds from this Naked Muse calendar will go towards the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in hopes of finding a cure. Only 1000 copies are available.
