The New Naked Lean Smoothies Answer Consumer Demand

The Naked Lean smoothies range has been unveiled by the brand in the UK as a response to consumer demand for lower sugar refreshment options in a bid to curb their intake of too many empty calories. The drinks are reported to be 40% lower in sugar in comparison to other smoothie products, and only contains sugar that's naturally occurring from the fruits and vegetables in the recipes. The products contain 42 calories or less per 150ml serving and are available in 360ml bottles from Booker, Spar and Nisa store locations at a price point of £2.60 each.

Senior Marketing Manager at PepsiCo Charlotte Ashburner spoke on the new Naked Lean smoothies range saying, "Research shows that consumers are becoming more conscious of their sugar and calorie intake when buying drinks. We created the Naked Lean range with these sugar-conscious consumers in mind, providing a healthier option without compromising on great taste."
