Naive Tableware by Vanja Bazdulj are Inspired by Childlike Graffiti

The Naive Tableware series is at once masculine and childlike. The dark abstract shapes each cup and container takes on speaks to the former while the adorable doodles that look like chalk markings lend themselves to the latter. A great followup to the Big Wonkys pot series, Naive Tableware may seem more mature on the surface, but there is still a playful spirit that resides inside.

Created by London-based designer Vanja Bazdulj, the Naive Tableware series "is inspired by doodles and sketches on walls of urban landscapes," according to her webiste. Simple and raw, both the doodles and the designs, "the collection is another expression of Vanjas ever-obsessive search for the beauty in texture and the imperfect." It appears she's getting closer.
