What is your favorite trend and why?
My favorite trend in terms of micro-trends is musical paintings. So these two artists Drew and Matt took a song from Metronomi and used it to inspire an animated painting.
How do you define cool?
I define cool using a dictionary and occasionally a thesaurus. I don't know, I don't really have any set definition. If I see something and if it strikes my fancy and I like it, I guess I consider it cool.
What is your secret to uncovering trends?
My technique or strategy for finding things that are likely to trend is looking for stuff that, lack for a better word, is weird or odd. If it is too commonplace then it's not going to stand out but if it's too out there, nobody is going to relate to it.
What is your favorite accomplishment?
My favorite accomplishment, I don't have many so I would have to say graduating university because it will help me get more accomplishments and maybe one day i'll have a more favorite accomplishment.
What inspires or excites you?
What inspires or excites me is curiosity and innovation because without those we would be cavemen and women.
Predict something awesome for 2020?
An upcoming trend I see is peoples' social networks becoming less dense and more diverse in terms of who is in those networks and becoming larger. Also palm trees in the arctic, melted glaciers and Kevin Costner's career has a renaissance in Water World 2.
