Bizarre Wooden Organs

This Musical Organ Features Individual Volume Knobs and a Conical Driver

A university student by the name of Josh Sheldon has applied innovative new engineering and design techniques towards the creation of a musical organ dubbed the Stepper Organ.

This musical organ features a truly unique appearance and audio aesthetic that you won't find in any regular old organ. It features a keyboard decked out in wooden keys, each of which is attached to a spinning cone. A large central cone is powered by an electric motor, with the resulting audio signal routed through a speaker in order to produce electronic organ sounds. Additionally, every note has its own individual volume knob, allowing the player full control over the texture of the outputted sound.

Bizarre in its workings yet brilliant in its conception, the Stepper Organ is bidding to change the way people think about the venerable organ.
