The designer of the Bloom multifunction kettle is calling it "the most efficient kettle in the world." The concept countertop contraption proposes the application of a water warmer for three additional purposes, making resourceful use of steam and hot water for other culinary tasks.
Jordan Lee Martin entered his Bloom into the 2015 Electrolux Design Lab with the hope of bringing efficiency, creativity, engagement and education into the kitchen in the form of a child-friendly device. With the primary kettle in the middle of the Bloom, three peripheral compartments house a moist mini herb garden, a compact dishwashing and sterilizing section, as well as a steam cooker for food. The multifunction kettle has child safety features and supports a holistic approach to doing culinary chores at home.
