The MSGM Resort 2013 Collection Merges Women's Fashion and Sports

The MSGM Resort 2013 collection is very "boy-meets-girl." Designer Massimo Giorgetti elaborates on the ever-popular tomboy-chic vibe by putting an emphasis on girly fabrics and silhouettes, while adding masculine touches. Giorgetti uses trimming commonly found in sports -- the baseball bomber, the piped pant legs, the large letters on the front of the attire and actual sports balls in the campaign photos to unite the borders of masculinity and femininity.

The same vibe can be observed in the collection's accessories. The over-sized clutches are a great addition to the collection, offering a fun twist on the athletic duffel with their oblong shape and utility in terms of maximum capacity of storage.

The MSGM line is very lighthearted and Giorgetti’s idea to infuse overtly feminine fabrics with masculine detail is playful, yet wearable.
