MP3 Bombs

This Musical Hand Grenade is the New BOOMbox

A decomissioned bomb has been inserted into an MP3 player and turned into an MP3 hand grenade (because, you know, only fools throw away used grenades).

Basically, the innards of the grenade was replaced with portable media hardware and the saftey pin was replaced with a headphone jack. It’s pretty inventive, but I’m questioning the practicality and social acceptability of actually using an MP3 hand grenade. After all, when one sees a grenade in your hands—even if your head is nodding to the beat—they’re most likely going to cover their heads, scream, or call the police (or all three!).
