Combat Helmet Radar

The Moving Target Indicator Will Warn Soldiers of Danger

Whatever makes it easier for soldiers to stay alive during combat will be in my good books (and I’m sure yours too). So, the Moving Target Indicator (MTI) is one item in my good books. It’s a special device that mounts onto a combat helmet and gives soldiers warnings as to threats and danger.

The Moving Target Indicator has a miniature, low power, near 360-degree field of view, which can see through fog, smoke, and dust, as well as in pure darkness. As Wired describes, the Moving Target Indicator radar will alert the soldier to the whereabouts of a target out to at least 25 meters.
