Movati Athletic Announces Substantial Investments to Reopen Safely

The ban for public gym facilities has been lifted for many cities across the world amid COVID1-9 and Movati Athletic is one facility investing in safe ways to reopen during the pandemic. "We’ve purchased electrostatic sprayers for every single club," says Kathleen Carroll, Chief Operating Officer of Movati Athletic. "We’ve invested over $30,000 in this equipment so that what we can do is overnight when the club is closed, we can then electrostatic spray every surface, every piece of equipment."

In addition, the fitness center will not only limit the number of individuals allowed to work out at once—from group fitness classes that used to train 45 people, the new sessions will only have 12 people. Services like child care, saunas, steam room, and the pool will also be closed.
