La Sportiva — the Italian brand with over 90 years of heritage in crafting performance mountain footwear — has introduced its Spring 2027 mountain running and hiking collection. The range is headlined by the new Talento and Talento Pro trail running shoes, which represent a new breed of footwear designed for fast-and-light efforts on steep, technical terrain.
The Talento Pro weighs 8.5 ounces for men and seven ounces for women. It is built for shorter, high-intensity runs where precision and footwork are as critical as cushioning. The silhouette features an updated XFlow Speed midsole made from supercritical TPEE for responsive cushioning, a reduced platform width for enhanced control, and a rockered profile for efficient movement on climbs and uneven ground. Its lightweight PowerWire upper provides support and efficient power transfer, while the FriXion White outsole with 3.5 millimetre lugs ensures outstanding grip. The Talento, on the other hand, serves as the daily training partner, using an XFlow single-block supercritical EVA midsole for balanced cushioning and responsiveness, a high-tenacity mesh upper for breathability and abrasion resistance, and a FriXion White outsole with deeper 4.5 millimeter lugs for added grip on soft surfaces.
