Iconic Electric Three-Wheelers

Morgan Motors' Ev3 Takes Cues from the Brand's Classic '3 Wheeler'

Back in 2011, Morgan Motors reintroduced its classic Morgan '3 Wheeler' with new technology to suit the needs of drivers in the 21st century. Now, the family-owned British car company is further refining the design of this three-wheeled vehicle with the EV3 in anticipation of the needs of drivers and environmental conditions of the future.

The EV3 draws inspiration from the iconic 3 Wheeler, but where it diverges most is with the care that it has for the environment. The latest mockups of this design propose this three-wheeler as a vehicle with zero emissions that will weigh less than its predecessor.

As of now, Morgan Motors is currently in the process of testing and further refining the EV3 model, an electric vehicle that's expected to go into production by the end of 2016.Photo Credits: designboom, morgan3wheeler
