Facial Hair Sculptures

Creative Facescaping at the 2011 Beard and Moustache Competition

We’ve seen no shortgage of unique facial hair creations over the years, but a moose and flag beard is truly unique. Any man can grow a beard, but not all can have them crafted into unique pieces of art.

German hairdresser Elmar Weisser took home the Grand Prize at the 2011 Beard and Moustache Competition for his impressive moose and flag beard. His sister helped him sculpt this one-of-a-kind, hairy face piece of art. It must have been quite a feat considering his facial hair hangs down to his waist.

Weisser’s moose and flag beard may have won the ultimate prize, but as you can see from the gallery, there were many other creative facial hair sculptures. Take a gander at the rest of the gallery to see; I hope you find them as interesting as I do.
