Comic-Style Cereal Packaging

General Mills' Monster Cereals Get Makeovers from DC Comic Artists

General Mills' classic Monster Cereals will be looking a little bit different this Halloween, thanks to a partnership with DC Entertainment and the work of some of its talented comic book artists. The line of cereals will feature new designs that turn characters like Boo Berry, Count Chocula and Franken Berry into comic book-style characters that are bold and color-centric.

Rather than an activity like a maze or some sort of word-based activity, the cereal boxes feature comic strips on the back. The artists involved in making the special edition boxes for the Monster Cereals include renowned comic artists like Jim Lee, Dave Johnson and Terry and Rachel Dodson. Like a special comic book release, these cereal boxes will only be available for the 2014 season at Halloween.
