There are exactly three components when it comes to each set of frames, which includes the acetate eye wire setting and two temples. There are no hinges built into these glasses, and hence there are no screws and no finicky manufacturing. The arms of Monoqool Helix NXT Series spectacles can rotate 360 degrees around until removal, operating on the principle of spiral-bound notebooks. Designed by Claus Jensen and Henrik Holbaek of Tools, this product earned a Red Dot Design Award in 2010.
