The Monolith Clock is a Three-Dimensional Time Tracker

The Monolith clock is a conceptual clock that aims to take the "o" out of 10 o'clock. The clock was designed by Emre Bakir and Mustafa Karakus of Negrocobre Design Studio and is part art piece part clock.

The Monolith Clock ditches the common circular clock shape in favor of a rectangular pyramid design. The redesign reorients how you read the time. The clock has two digital hands that point to a digital readout of both the hour and minute. The hands appear randomly around the clock and often cross from one side of the pillar to the next. There is only so much you can do with one shape. The three-dimensional and rectangular design of the Monolith clock could very well be the standard by which all clocks of the future are designed.
