Console Cooling Modifications

The EK-QuantumX CoolingStation Monoblock is a water block designed for the Sony PlayStation 5. It covers the entirety of the PS5’s PCB and cools all the critical components on the front and back of the PCB. The monoblock features rich D-RGB lighting on the front with a plexi cutout. Power delivery is converted from the 2-pin DC connector to the two 8-pin PCIe connectors via a custom PCB mounted on this product. It is important to note that this monoblock requires the rest of the custom water-cooling loop to function, an ATX-standard Power Supply for power delivery, and an external RGB controller for the optional RGB LED effect. The additional m.2 SSD drive is compatible with this monoblock, but requires disassembly to be accessed and installed. The EK-QuantumX CoolingStation Monoblock cools every vital PS5 component, including SOC chip, GDDR6 VRAM, various controllers, and Voltage Regulation module to the integrated SSD NAND memory chips.

The EK-QuantumX CoolingStation Monoblock for PS5 is available for pre-order through the EK Webshop and partner reseller network. This product is expected to ship out in late October 2023. The manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP), VAT included, is $449.99.
