The Monki Carnaby Street Shop by Electric Dreams is Circus-Chic

The Monki Carnaby Street shop is designed by Electric Dreams. Shining a spotlight on reflective materiality and finishes, psychedelic patterns and carnival-inspired accessories, this whimsical retail space brings out one's inner child.

Located in London's fashion district, Stockholm-based design studio Electric Dreams used underwater life as one of its main inspirations for the spirited space. Resembling an ocean-side carnival, this vivid interior features sparkling led light displays, a distorted mirrored ceiling and a slew of other exaggerated elements.

Hanging on recycled ropes from old shipping vessels, colorful clothes are displayed on custom-designed water lily tables and carousel-inspired shelves. Dynamic and full of life, the Monki Carnaby Street shop is child-like space and playful, making its visitors enter into another world once inside.
