Poiat, a Helsinki-based design studio founded by Timo Mikkonen and Antti Rouhunkoski, has introduced two new modern table designs that embody the brand's philosophy of blending meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to timeless elegance.
The Profondo Coffee Table and the Paletto Side Table showcase clean lines, balanced proportions, and a harmonious fusion of modern and classic aesthetics. The Profondo Coffee Table is named after the Italian word for 'deep.' It features rich, calming hues of green and plum and is crafted from high-quality MDF with a high-gloss finish. Meanwhile, the Paletto Side Table highlights a delicate interplay of strength and refinement where glass is the primary material.
Each one of Poiat's modern table designs is handmade in small batches in a glass workshop in Kuopio, Finland. The pieces are also individually numbered.
