The classic British sports car company Aston Martin lends its used auto parts to create clean and modern furniture pieces.
The line, created by Nicholas Mee & Company in collaboration with artisan engineers 'Racing Gold' features various designs that were made partially out of upcycled parts, which at one time were used in Aston Martin racing or road cars. Each has been refurbishing into beautiful and functional pieces. It includes a range of items from a tweed racing seat with chrome legs to an iPod dock made from brake calipers. Any of these pieces would be the ideal gift for any car enthusiast in your family.
The modern furniture pieces are available from NM&Co's online and goes to show that not everything has to go to the junkyard once it no longer works for its original purpose.
