Ergonomic Bicycle Designs

Paolo de Giusti's Modern Bicycle Toys with Wheel-Ratio Ergonomics

Designer Paolo de Giusti has created a modern bicycle that challenges most contemporary bikes. This two-wheeled innovation experiments with ergonomics through its unconventional wheel design.

Still in the prototype stages, this modern bicycle is the first of its kind when it comes to contemporary bicycle silhouettes. The rear wheel of this bike is much larger in volume and is in fact a velodrome race-sized wheel that boasts a 36-inch rim. Unlike the average bike, this model does not disrupt the rider's position on the bike but rather corrects ergonomic measurements much better than a bike with two equal sized wheels. The thicker tires balance out the bike's durable 3D-printed frame, which displays ABS materials, an eight-geared internal rear hub, LED lighting attached to the handle bars and PVC tubing.
