Karnataka Gramin Bank Launched Mobile ATMs in Rural India Areas

In an effort to help farmers in rural areas across Inda, the Karnataka Gramin Bank (KGB) launched mobile ATMs which gives residents access to financial institutions to withdraw money and see various banking schemes. The project was assisted by the Financial Inclusion Fund by the National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development.

KGB's mobile ATMs will be staffed by employees who go door-to-door to educate residents regarding the digital banking system. "Our aim is to create awareness among the farmers regarding the bank schemes and how to use digital ATMs to repay their loans promptly," Girish Hebbar, Regional Manager of Karnataka Gramin Bank was quoted by the ANI. This initiative has already reached almost 70 districts.
