MLS WORKS Announces Its Collaboration with Parley and adidas

The social responsibility platform by Major League Soccer, MLS WORKS joins forces with Parley and adidas to create sustainable pieces for the field. It recently announced its fourth Greener Goals Week of Service and it explores a variety of ways that MS can reduce its greenhouse gas footprint whilst also bringing awareness to environmental issues that surround the sports society.

The MLS staff members and clubs will be joining local organizations and volunteering to highlight the initiative. One of the latest efforts is the aforementioned collaboration, creating garments from recycled marine plastic waste. The kits are limited edition and all 24 clubs will be sporting the sustainable garments during the games over Earth Day weekend on April 19-21. This collaboration makes a statement aimed towards soccer fans, encouraging awareness of plastic pollution and eliminating single-use plastic.
