This Miniature Van is Designed With Accessibility At the Forefront

ZEV has launched an innovative version of a miniature van that is designed to be able to make compact electric motoring substantially more accessible to drivers who use wheelchairs, thanks to the fact that it is crafted with wheelchair accessibility at the centre of design choices rather than being an afterthought.

The 'ZEV 511 Wheelchair Conversion' doesn't have a driver's seat due to the fact that is specifically designed for people who use wheelchairs. For easy access, this miniature van can be accessed via a ramp that appears when the remote control is engaged to open the rear access of the van. This allows users to use the ramp to move up to the front of the vehicle where they can access the driver interface.

This miniature van is fitted with a 60-volt battery that offers a range of around 100 km, which makes it ideal for urban errands. The vehicle can attain a full charge in about five hours.
