Microsoft Teams is Implementing a Sign Language View Panel

Microsoft is launching a new dedicated sign language view on its Microsoft Teams video conferencing platform feature. It is able to enable sign language to users and they can select up to two other participants' videos to be in the central location.

This allows the designated signers to be visible to users throughout any given meeting. Microsoft does note that Teams users are able to enable the feature for all of their meetings or simply by a meeting-by-meeting selection. This can be useful for non-hearing impaired signers as well as the interpreters can be assigned prior to starting the meeting if they work at the organization. External interpreters are assigned using the Accessibilities tab found in the app settings.
