Artist Mick Minogue Carves and Hand Paints Game of Thrones Figurines

Artist Mick Minogue is jumping on the Songs of Ice and Fire bandwagon by creating detailed wooden action figures of popular characters from the series. Minogue puts a lot of time and effort into these figurines. Each little character is carved and hand painted.

These impressive action figures were displayed recently at a Songs of Ice and Fire art show at a gallery in Seattle. Minogue crafted these characters out of wood because he wanted to make them look like toys that children would play with in the fantasy land of Westeros. Jamie Lannister and The Hound are some of the characters that Minogue paid tribute to for the art show.

Even the packaging for these finely crafted action figures is entertaining. The boxes read "suitable for wildlings", which is a joke that fans of the series will appreciate.
