STAPLE has returned with the help of Milan-based label Octopus for a unique capsule collection dubbed ‘MI-NYC.’ The collection celebrates the origins of STAPLE and Octopus, fusing the brand’s respective tentacle and pigeon motifs for the limited edition release. This design is seen most prominently on screen-printed T-shirts that feature the pigeon design above a black base that transforms into a series of tentacles. Other offerings in the collection use the same screen-printing technique or opt for embroidery, garment dyes, or jacquard weaves to explore the collaborative design.
To complete the set, the pigeon and tentacle design is reversed on a pair of matching shorts. STAPLE and Octopus will also release an additional pink tee and logo hoodie with the collection. Everything is tied together by co-branded Porte Adresse" luggage tags that are sewn onto the garments.
