Downsized Gas Guzzlers

The MEV Hummer HX is the Green Successor to GM's Iconic SUV

The MEV Hummer HX is either a win or a lose depending on which side of the Hummer debate you stand on. If you think Hummer's are God's gift to man and love getting nine miles per-gallon, then you will probably hate the all-electric MEV Hummer HX.

However, if you love electric cars then you will be overjoyed at the sight of this shrunken-down Hummer. Whereas the discontinued GM Hummer used to be mistaken for an APC on a regular basis, this new Hummer from MEV (My Electric Vehicle) has more in common with a golf cart or buggy. The vehicle has a few different configurations, offering drivers a hardtop, topless and "limo" option.

The miniature electric Hummer is classified as a "resort vehicle," but it seems to have all the necessities needed to be street legal such as mirrors and turn signals. Check out the new MEV Hummer HX in the video above and decide for yourself whether or not you would drop $16,000 on what truly is a one-of-a-kind ride.
