Ricoh Imaging Americas Corporation announced its latest metallic digital compact camera called the RICOH GR III Diary Edition. The camera was previously only available as a part of the RICOH GR III Diary Edition Special Limited Kit. However, the camera can now be purchased individually. The RICOH GR III premium digital compact camera features a metallic gray body with a silver ring cap.
The RICOH GR III Diary Edition features a new image-control mode for mimicking photos that appear to be taken using negative film. In addition, it recreates unique visual effects and balances colors with the discoloration found in prints produced using negative film. Another feature of the camera is that it can display the number of images taken daily, the total number of recorded images, 3-axis image stabilization, and phase detection autofocus. The camera will be available in the coming weeks for $1,019.95.
