These Shoes Are Made From Biodegradable & Recyclable Materials

French eco-friendly sports brand Circle Sportswear has teamed up with the Woolmark Company, the world-leading authority on merino wool, to develop a range of merino wool running shoes that are crafted entirely from recyclable and biodegradable materials.

The 'SuperNatural Runner' has an outsole that is built from vulcanized, biodegradable rubber, while the midsole is made from lightweight and highly flexible castor oil. Meanwhile, the uppers of these shoes are made of 65 percent Australian Merino wool and 35 percent Tencel. Elsewhere, the interior is lined with merino, which is prized for its breathability and high-performance attribute, not to mention its eco-friendly credentials.

These gorgeously constructed and eco-friendly wool running shoes can be pre-ordered for around $161.
