The 'Mercedes-Benz EGQ' is G-Wagen Fit for the Future

German luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the 'Mercedes-Benz EGQ,' an all-electric version of its classic G-Wagen model. The brand new concept was introduced at the 2021 IAA Mobility show in Munich, where the company showcased the future-forward car design.

Big, boxy, and robust, the electric version looks just like the classic G-Wagen model but boasts a few new features and elements, including glowing accents and 22-inch polished aluminum rims. In fact, sci-fi-like illumination is a theme central to the car's upgraded aesthetic. The 'Black Panel Grille' on the vehicle's front is lit up by rounded LED blocks giving it a futuristic, 3D effect, while its sides don glowing white bands.
