The art of Iranian-American painter Tala Madani is truly independent. Her stroke of the brush depicts men in various and often exaggerated scenarios making her paintings a caricature of life in the Middle East; it's also why the word 'dangerous' is often used in connection with this young, gifted artist.
Tala Madani was born in Tehran in 1981. She now lives in Amsterdam and her paintings are currently being exhibited at ‘Unveiled, New Art from the Middle East’ at the Saatchi Gallery in London.
I will hurry down there and see these dazzling men in clusters paintings for myself. The show is on until May 9.
