Melt Interieur Debuts Two New Minimalist Table Designs

The latest tables that Melt Interieur has debuted are incredibly minimalist, focusing on the overall design rather than tiny embellishments that often mask rather boring furniture pieces. Yet, what I find even more interesting about Melt Interieur’s designs is that at first glance they may seem very simple, but upon closer inspection, it turns out to be deceptively so.

Melt Interieur’s Meltingpoint is a clear example of this. Made out of plywood, it takes the playful aesthetic of a paper airplane. However, its straight and sleek lines are sharply stark and unassuming.

Meltingpoint’s The 5° desk is also made out of a single sheet of plywood. Although it looks like a standard desk, it has a rather quirky shape. I also appreciate how it interacts with one’s computer cord, making it a part of the table.
