Meatly is Introducing the UK to a Sustainable, Ethical Pet Food Solution

Meatly is among the first brands to sell cultivated pet food and it's on a mission to make its name a household one that brings a more sustainable pet food product to pets and people alike. The brand is launching in the UK and it's ready to share a cultivated pet food innovation based on a sample of cells from a chicken egg.

Meatly (formerly Good Dog Food) recently rebranded to better reflect its cultivated pet food offerings. Owen Ensor, chief executive officer of Meatly, says "We chose the name ‘Meatly’ because we wanted to celebrate the fact that that is real meat, made the new way." According to Meatly, 20% of meat is used just to make food for pets and its next-gen pet food challenges unethical, unsustainable factory farming.
