The McLaren F1 Replica is a Subtle Tribute to the Iconic British Ride

Just when you thought you were handy, a Polish man by the name of Jacek Mazur comes along and builds a stunning McLaren F1 replica. Mazur has built a number of replica cars over the years, including Porsches and Lamborghinis. However, his McLaren F1 replica may be his best work yet. The F1 was the first car ever made by the company, and many gearheads consider it to a masterpiece that successfully took track technology and made it accessible to everyday drivers.

Mazur built the fiberglass shell, welded the chassis and created the unique seats (three seats with the driver's seat in the center) by himself. The mechanic and customizer is a "Top Gear UK" fan, so he built a tiny fourth seat and named it Hammond's seat after one of the show's host. While a normal F1 would sell for millions, Mazur built his McLaren F1 replica for a mere $37,000.
