Maybelline Taps the Bunny-Eared Namito for the Lunar New Year

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Maybelline New York taps Namito for its new limited edition Maybelline x Namito makeup collection. The collection sees Namito’s red lipstick-covered kissy face emblazoned across a selection of makeup products for the release. The collection includes the ‘Maybelline Fitme Flush Tint,’ ‘Hypersharp Extreme Liner,’ and ‘Superstay Matte Ink,’ speaking to Gen Z's need for individual expression and love for childlike cartoon characters.

"In order to adapt to the changes in consumers’ demand, we’re focusing on creating original and powerful innovations designed specifically for Chinese Gen Z, to support our strong makeup expertise and a more engaging consumer journey," explains Mehdi Khoubbane, vice president of L’Oreal China.
