The Max Basler Myles Encourages Children to Stay on Top of Oral Hygiene

Max Basler has designed Myles, a music-playing humanoid meant to get kids to brush their teeth more often. Myles is part toothbrush holder, part MP3 player. When a child removes their toothbrush from Myles, he will begin playing a song 2:30 long. The song makes it fun for children to brush their teeth for the required time.

Myles is an ingenious design that could very well improve the dental health of children across the country. Atop Myles' head are 7 LED lights. The lights light up to help the child keep track of how many days out of the week they have brushed their teeth. Parents often end up paying for the poor dental hygiene of their children as they age. Max Basler's Myles would help save parents money in the long run and would encourage children to develop healthy practices at a young age.
