Toronto-based artist Matt Bahen recently created a series of oil paintings depicting the sombre, fading beauty of decay. The works are currently on exhibition at the LE Gallery in Toronto under the title ‘After the Wolves.’
Matt Bahen uses the medium of oil painting to great effect; he creates a palpable sense of texture which is often absent from digital renderings, water-colors or even pencil and charcoal drawings.
