Gamer Recreated Transit Maps

Dave Delisle Recreates Washington's Metro Sytem as a Mario Map

Dave Delisle from Dave's Geeky Ideas has recreated the Washington D.C. metro as a Mario map. Using elements from Super Mario Bros. 3 such as pipes and mushrooms, he has perfected the transit lines and stops.

The map is available for sale as framed and canvas prints. Dave has previously done a map of the San Francisco transit system in similar fashion. Hopefully he gets around to whipping up more Mario maps to ensure every major city is represented.

As the title suggests, these maps really transform the metro maps into super metro. They will help one feel like their day-to-day life is a video game. Hopefully this will get people to smile more on those straight-faced transit rides.
