An anonymous caller tipped off local police in the village of Filiro regarding a cannabis nursery at a nearby convent. Upon further investigation, authorities learned that the elderly nuns had been taken advantage of by two men posing as gardeners. They uncovered about 30 full-grown plants in an enclosed marijuana plantation on the grounds of the nunnery.
Police did not arrest the nuns and are currently searching for the gardeners.
Implications - Can you imagine how lucky those guys felt when they scored this spot? Those poor nuns hadn’t a clue. Here’s to hoping they’re captured soon, there is nothing worse than taking advantage of a generous older woman.
