The Marie Claire US September 2014 Newell-Hanson Photoshoot is Domestic

The Marie Claire US Make Yourself At Home photoshoot offers an unlikely look at the domestic life of model Steffi Soede. In the images taken by Boe Marion, Soede appeared settled into a retro abode as she sat at a kitchen table and crouched on a vintage bathtub, all of which could very well be seen in real life.

While domestic scenes are displayed in Make Yourself At Home, fashion editor Catherine Newell-Hanson ensured that the set was anything but predictable or mundane. She accomplished this via revealing skin-tight leather pants, grungy basketball shorts, long patterned frocks and oversize feathered jackets, pieces that made Soede appear vintage and modern at the same time.

Despite the bold patterns and colors, cosmetics expert Kasja Svanberg toned down the production with pale eyes and lips.
