Ladylike Cottaging Editorials

The Latest Issue of Marie Claire Netherlands Takes to the Wilderness

For the September 2014 issue of Marie Claire Netherlands, brilliant photographer David Cohen de Lara shot stunning blonde model Simone Van Werkhoven in a feminized cottaging editorial. The shoot featured Werkhoven posing in ladylike high-fashion garments while roughing it in the wilderness.

Reverting to nature can be a great way to decompose and Werkhoven shows how women can enjoy hanging out in the middle of nowhere and still look stylishly chic. Stylist Anouk Van Griensven dressed Werkhoven up in series of layered garments such as pastel-colored trench coats, technicolor knitted sweaters and fitted button-up shirts that add structure and femininity to Werkhoven's body. These pieces are both functional as well as fashionable making them the perfect pieces to have at a cottage.
