Mariana Tocornal Creates ‘Beecups' for Upcoming CODE Fair

Chilean designer Mariana Tocornal is a talented artist that will be featured as a part of the the CODE fair. The fair, which is held in Copenhagen during design week, will take place August 27 until the 6th of September, 2009.

The pictures in the above gallery are titled, ‘Beecups,’ and are entirely made of beeswax. Although you may have worked with this substance for some kindergarten craft projects, Mariana Tocornal is no crafty novice. Her beeswax is transformed into flower vases, candle holders and various delicate containers.
