Designer Marc Fornes designs a new coral-like bulging pavilion for Louis Vuitton and it was presented during Milan Design Week along with the new Objets Nomads furniture collection by the French fashion house. Fornes runs the New York design studio The Very Many. The team created the Nomad pavilion using over 16,000 sheets of anodized aluminum.
Every single piece is made to have a unique shape and pattern as the thin material comes together to create a bulbous shape in the shape of coral. This is a common emblem that is recognized in Forne's work. The installation is lightweight and takes place within the Palazzo Serbilloni in Milan. The fashion house notes, "[The pavilion resembles] a living being that has organically bubbled up from the Palazzo's courtyard."
