Villain-Inspired Jewelry

Crow's Nest Created Maleficent Jewelry for the Disney Movie's Release

With the latest real-life Disney movie 'Maleficent' set to release this summer, a lot of merchandise is starting to get released; most recently, a Maleficent jewelry line has been created. Australian fine jewelry designer Daniel Philip Belevich crafted the capsule collection to completely embody the villainous queen.

Maleficent will be played by Angelina Jolie and the posters depict the actress in her scariest form to-date. The jewelry emulates her creepy aura and includes oxidized silver bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings. Some of the pieces look like dragons, thorns, feathers and serpents -- all the things that surround the evil aspects of the classic Sleeping Beauty fairy tale. Even though they may mimic "evil," they are still beautiful pieces of jewelry that you could wear on a daily basis.
